why we signed the papers

jess junior

We've barely discussed the name. The working title, jess junior, has seemed so right for the belly time. We lean towards Lucy, consider Ella, and J loves Alex. I think they are all cute and charming and wonderful, but I'm probably instilling qualities I've already given my little one to the name contenders.

the last week

The due date is the 22nd, although it could be any day now or three weeks from now. So far, Jess has had a wonderful pregnancy. Some back pain a few months ago, but otherwise she's been truly amazing. She still swims! Her new favorite joke:

J: Did you work out today?
M: No..ermmm (hemming and hawwing)....no.
J: I did, and i am almost 9 months pregnant!

I hope jess junior has the same sense of humor and drive.
